Warren to Wrightville PA

Almost got caught in a thunderstorm today. Fortunately it was brief. Then the sun came out and I got a little burn. Not as bad as last time, though. I actually used sunscreen, but it must have been in heat too long, it turned from a cream to a liquid. I suspect it lost some potency.

I walked through Warren today. The part along the Allegheny River is very pretty. Travis was more interested in the internet cafe.

I had one person offer me a ride during the downpour and later, a man gave me a walking, stick, an arrow head, a newspaper (we were on the front page of the Warren paper) and a feather. Nice guy.

Eric, from the Meadville paper walked about five miles with me, it was the longest anyone's accompanied me on the trip. A television reporter walked with me today, too, but it was a much shorter distance. He had a camera person who was apparently in very good shape. He kept running ahead of us. Backward. With the camera.

Tomorrow: Wrightville to Union City, well almost to Union City. Getting very close to the end of Penn.
