Warren to Union City to Venango PA
[No computer available yesterday and limited time today]

It poured yesterday. I got soaked - in about 10 minutes. There were some pretty farms and stuff along the way, but mostly I just put my head down and chugged forward.

Made it all the way to Union City (which is a VERY small city) which means I walked about 24 miles.

I passed a brick drive-in movie. The screen was actually a massive (really) wall. Actually it was a high narrow building, because I saw a door in the back. The "screen" was painted on. It was all kind of neat.

There's a lot of interest in the walk here. I had a bunch of people join the walk at various points. I was given soda, water, fruit, money, ice cream and the keys to two towns. Very neat. The people here are so nice.

At the end of the day we visited a couple who were living in a former church building. Their living area had a 24-foot-high ceiling and 10 stained glass windows. They bought the building for $15,000.

Best of all my daughter visited. Got to walk and talk with her and got a hug at the end. That sure makes up for the rainy day.

Tomorrow we have off and Tuesday we walk through Meadville. Then it's on to Linesville - "Where the ducks walk on the fish" - and then to Ohio.
