Linesville, Meadville and the End of PA

We've had very little computer time lately, so the updates have been scarce. Hopefully that's the end of that for a while.

We were really overwhelmed by the receptions we got in western PA - especially in Meadville and Linesville. It was great having a whole bunch of people walking.

We won't be doing the Linesville portion (of the stories) till next week, but those fish at the spillway were something else. Travis figured there were thousands of them fighting for the bread we were tossing. I wouldn't second guess that. I bet he has some great pix.

Today, I started Ohio. It is smoother walking, but we encountered a big, mean thunderstorm just as I finished walking. It seemed to chase us down the highway. We were very happy to make it to the hotel.

Oh, in Linesville they had about a thousand school kids lining the street. Really. All the kids from elementary to senior high. We did hand slaps for about a quarter mile. They seemed to like it and it was a real kick for me.
