Walkerton to Westville (almost).

Forty miles from Illinois line.

Another typical midwest day. Sunny in the morning. Mean, ugly clouds. Wicked rain, thunder and, or course, lightening, in the morning. Sunny in the afternoon and heavy rain at night.

Just the usual.

We left Amish Acres today without getting a chance to tour the place. They also have a play, which we didn't get to see. But I did eat there. Mmmmm. Lots of good food, the kind you don't want to stop eating. Then you groan when the dessert comes out - and eat that, too.

I can't understand why I'm not losing weight. Must be the air.

We're just 40 miles from the Illinois border. I've been walking a little extra each day to get us in striking distance. We'll be there Wednesday - unless the weather interferes. We skipped our usual day off (today) too, so I'm getting weary.

My wife's arriving Wednesday. That will be fun. We'll be just like tourists for a few days.
