Princeton to Mineral to Geneseo

Weather's been getting warmer and I tend to melt late in the day. It's a big treat for me to find a popsicle at days end (or before.) Otherwise everything's been ok.

This area is prettier than I expected. Lots of little hills to break up the expanses. My daughter walked with me today. Very nice.

We're just 15-20 miles from the Mississippi and I intend to cross it Friday. I don't suppose they let you stick your feet in the river, but I'd like to try. There are a lot of canals around here.

We're staying at a campground next to the Hennepin Canal, which was a model for the Panama Canal.
