Paoli to Fleming CO We're travelling through some really wide open country here. Most of this is dry (no irrigation) farming so there are no big center piviots blocking the view. I can see some hills in the distance but we're still too far from the Rockies to think that's them. Once again we've met some wonderful people. They had a watermellon feast for us in Lamar, NE Saturday afternoon. Nice party for us in Holyoke, CO Saturday night and a reception for us in Haxtun and then the folks we're staying with cooked us dinner in Fleming tonight. Tomorrow there'll be another get-together, so we've been busy. Fun busy. Tuesday we'll hit Sterling and begin our southward turn toward Denver, which will be about 140 away then.
