Here's a heartening letter I got from Jayme in Holdredge, Nebraska.
It made my day…

"Hi Joe!

I have great news to report! Lost Soul has been found and his name is Butch. His owners realized on Tuesday evening that he and his brother were missing. They began searching for them in the ditches and found Butch near the food and milk you had provided him. His brother was on the north side of the road in the ditch.

I wanted to know about Lost Soul's whereabouts so bad that I sent a letter to the local paper. That is why his owners contacted me. She even brought in pictures this morning, so I could see he's doing well. I'm so glad to have a happy ending to the story.

I did post this information in the guestbook, so others would know Lost Soul has been found. " - Jayme
