Denver!

After weeks of focusing on pretty-big D, I crossed the city line and walked to our hotel (the Adam's Mark) in downtown Denver. Haven't seen much of Denver yet but the section where we're staying is very impressive, with streets closed to cars, lots of shops, even more places to eat and some entertainment spots too.

But getting here took a lot out of me. There were several long walking days and the hot weather is back. The folks here have been very friendly, one guy put us up for a night on short notice, another walked 10 miles with me today and the folks at the Adam's Mark Hotel (a very nice place) are hosting us for a few days.

Unfortunately, the route into the city was primarily through indusrial areas, so I'll hold off on any comments about the city till I've had a good night's rest. Besides, we'll be in Denver a few days recharging and exploring the area. I'll have plenty of time to get a better look at the place.
