Red Rock Canyon to Lancaster CA

Well, the sunny, warm california weather reappeared these last two days. It made walking a lot simpler. We're ahead of schedule, but I probably overdid it getting here. But now we're in decent shape, even if there some unexpected setbacks in the next week.

We're about 75 miles from LA now and we'll be moving to more and more urban areas as we head southwest. We should hit San Fernando on the weekend then head in the LA metro area through Burbank and other spots.

We're in a remarkable motel tonight, the Inn at Lancaster. It actually serves a complimentary dinner five nights a week - cooked by the manager. I've never encountered that before.
